Music Teacher

Castle Montessori Schools music teacher position requires the teacher to rotate between Castle Montessoris five campuses. Our campuses are located in Carrollton, Flower Mound, McKinney, Frisco and Plano, Texas. We are looking for an educator who is excited about working with young students, toddlers through 5th grade. The ideal candidates should enjoy combining movement and/or theater to teach creative expression, and can incorporate both choral and instrumental elements into instruction. The person is also in charge of Castle Montessori Schools annual school wide music recital performance performed at each location.

Castle Montessori Schools part time music teacher position starts in August, 2021. This position requires the teacher to rotate between Castle Montessoris five campuses. The Music Teacher position also serves our elementary age students with a focus on music appreciation within a global context, musicianship, composition, instrumental skill development (ukuleles, xylophones and rhythm instruments) and performance. We want students to enjoy making music as individuals and a part of a group.

Applicants should be organized, possess people skills, show initiative and a high level of engagement with children, and be upbeat and energetic.

Skills and duties include, but are not limited to: Detail Oriented, Excellent Communication Skills (Verbal, Written, Etc.), High Level Of Professionalism, Multi-Tasking, Highly Skilled And Knowledgeable in Child Care and Child Development, Professional Image, Punctual and Committed.

Hours: 8:30 am to 1:00pm M-F (Part-Time) across multiple campuses.
