Montessori Early Childhood Assistant Teacher Invitation

Housed in a beautiful 1750s Dutch barn on a budding permaculture farm, Catskill Montessori School opened its doors in the fall of 2020.

We are a private, non-profit school inspired by permaculture ethics of: people care, earth care, and fair share. We opened fall 2020 with one early childhood 3-6 class and one 6-9 elementary class. Due to the level of interest, we are adding a new Montessori toddler community, an additional early childhood 3-6 class, and expanding our elementary program to include 6-12 for the fall of 2021.

We are seeking an experienced Montessori assistant early childhood teacher. Ideal candidates would have Montessori early childhood experience or a similar child-focused educational background and be interested in Montessori training. Farming, permaculture or similar experience or interest is a big plus!

Catskill is equidistant from Boston and New York City (about two hours), with easy access to both. With many quaint towns nearby, including Hudson, with Amtrak service to NYC, Catskill offers the charm, culture, and environment of the farm and forest.
