Founded in 1995, Starting Points, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation that prepares professional workers for our nation\\\'s expanding child care needs so that children are provided with high quality, developmentally appropriate care in a safe, nurturing environment. Our teaching methods combine NAEYC\\\'s developmentally appropriate practices, Howard Gardner\\\'s theory of multiple intelligences, and the Hawaii Developmental Scales\\\' sequential learning domains among others. \\r\\n
